Signonafrica's Two-Way Satellite Communications System is a comprehensive,
cost-effective solution that enables Corporate/SOHO/Residential user to
obtain reliable broadband Internet and Intranet communications.

Signonafrica satellite system supplies a fast Internet, Intranet and high traffic internetworking
to Corporate/SOHO/Residential users located in one or many remote sites. Signonafricaallows the corporation
to be independent of terrestrial communication links that typically cause data bottlenecks. Using our system,
corporate communications are more reliable, experience less "down-time," and increase productivity. Our star topology system consists of a Hub station that connects to the Internet backbone. Remote Gateways, and optionally to a digital video broadcast server.

Our system's high data rate is up to 15Mbps per single Remote Gateway in the Forward link(Hub to the Remote Gateway),
and up to 384 Kbps in the Return link. Higher Return Channel data rates up to full E1 (2048 Kbps) is also available.

The Hub broadcasts over DVB-format, up to 72 Mbps dtata rate is available form the Hub to all Remote Gateways, depending
on satellite parameters. Each Remote Gateway can process data rates up to 15Mbps for all its users and up to 1.1 Mbps per single
TCP/IP session for Windows NT, and 1.6 Mbps for Windows 95/98/2000.

Typical Corporate/SOHO/Residential Applications
|
The interface of the Remote Gateway to the uses is via an Ethernet 10/100BT or Switch Ethernet. Multiple users may
connect to the LAN residing behind the Remote Gateway. The gateway support proper
sizing and configuration for any scenario. Connections between building may be performed by all communication links:
wire LAN behind the Remote Gateway, wireless data system, ADSI, SDSL, FDDI and other optical media. When using Remote
Gateways, the terminals may be installed in the end-use's building and several buildings may be served by a single
Remote Gateway depending on trafic patterns.
Advanced Application Servers like E-mail server,Web server, DNS server, and NAT server may be installed on the LAN
behind any Remote Gateway or for redundancy in the Hub.The asymmetric nature of the data transfer ensures maximum
efficiency of satellite resources.
The system provides support for a billing
interface (Radius) per Remote Gateway, an essential feature for Service Providers, in addition, supports VPN, IPsec and IP Multicast that allows remote sites to be connected to the corporate intranet and database
servers.
